The useful material is the page, the exact sentence, the relevant paper and the specific mismatch. A difference between an animal result and a human claim matters; so does a missing qualifier on a duration or a percentage. The reading list identifies the papers discussed here.

A correction that narrows a claim is as welcome to me as a finding that enlarges it. A proposed replacement needs to preserve what the experiment actually measured.
